    Ingredients

  • 150 g butter
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 100 ml brown sugar
  • 50 ml hazelnuts
  • 50 ml walnuts
  • 100 g dried apricots
  • 100 g dates
  • 100 g TINE Gudbrandsdalen
  • 500 ml rolled oats
  • 100 ml wheat bran
  • 0,25 tsp salt
Here is how you do it

Heat the butter, golden syrup, honey and brown sugar in a saucepan, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Leave the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring all the time, so that the sugar caramelises.

Chop the hazelnuts, walnuts, dried apricots and dates. Cut the brunost into small cubes.

Mix the nuts, dried fruit, oats, wheat bran and salt into the butter mixture. Stir in the cubes of brunost at the end.

Pour the mixture into a small tin, approx. 15x20 cm, lined with baking paper. Press the mixture down well and smooth the top. Put in the fridge to chill for about 1 hour.

TIP: The bars hold together best when cold. You can also serve this as granola with milk.

Cut into bars with a sharp knife and serve.
